NCVO have a free computer advice line. You can also email questions to the email provided below. There is always someone behind the phone from 9.00am to 6.oopm Mon-Friday to guide you through various sources of information and support available out there. Their website is hyperlinked with ICTHub.

IT4Communities
This organisation can help you access free IT Support from IT professional volunteers - saving you substantial costs. If you need to develop a database, or have a PC health check, you can always seek help from IT4C. They are able to find professional IT volunteer that have some spare time to help charities. http://www.it4communities.org.uk/it4c/home/index.jsp
To request a volunteer for an IT project please register with them first. If you are a volunteer you can also register with them to search for opportunities. BrAVA works in partnership with IT4C to bring the best of preofessional IT volunteers to Brent organisations. Let us know if we can help.
Charity Technology Trust (CTT)
CTT has launched its Charity Technology Exchange Programme, distributing donated MICROSOFT software and other donated technology products to UK charities. All the most popular Microsoft products are available to charities for a nominal administration fee. You can get a copy of WORD 2007 for maybe less than £20. www.ctxchange.org To find out more go to www.ctt.org Tel 0845 456 1823. To register and place and order with them you have to be a registered charity or a charitabale housing associations. Currently you can place only one order per year, so make sure you plan well in advance.
