Community groups often need access to support and information in their formative years. RedbridgeCVS has a dedicated Development Team who can provide support in the following areas:

How can we help?

If you are thinking of setting up a small group, or have already begun your activities we can help you:
• get yourselves organised: setting up a committee, write a constitution, getting charitable status,
• develop good practices: policies and procedures to guide your activities and protect your members,
• obtain funds to support your work: identifying funders, writing successful bids,
• develop your members skills: provide access to training.

How we can work with you?

Our Small Groups Support Worker and Capacity Development Worker will take you and your group through a step-by-step process which will look at:
• your group’s needs
• your management committee
• your constitution
• future activities
• financial position
• fundraising plans
This information will help draw up development and action plans for your group. RedbridgeCVS staff will help you take these plans forward.
This process is also designed to help:
• build on your strengths as a group
• focus and develop the ideas you have for your group
• provide an opportunity for you or your group to discuss new ideas.
