Liz Pearce - Office Manager
I came to work for RedbridgeCVS on a temporary basis at the beginning of November 2006. Prior to that I had been involved in local politics as a member of Redbridge Council for 12 years, and had worked for a housing association in Newham for 11 years. I also spent a year doing voluntary work as Deputy Manager of the Oxfam bookshop in Ilford.
I attend the various meetings hosted by RedbridgeCVS and take minutes at them. I am involved in the Exercise Project which we are running in partnership with the Redbridge Primary Care Trust & Redbridge Council. I deal with room bookings and general administrative matters for the organisation.
I am enjoying meeting the representatives of the voluntary sector who come to our offices, and look forward to getting to know more of you in the coming months.
I have lived in Redbridge for over 20 years and have 2 sons – one at university in Cornwall and the other at a local secondary school. I have been a school governor in the borough for many years and continue to serve in this capacity at Mayfield School.
