Positive East

Positive East has been on the forefront of HIV service and care for nearly three decades; supporting people from point of HIV diagnosis to longer term care.

Positive East is working with clients over the telephone, email, video calls, WhatsApp and Facebook to provide welfare benefits advice, peer support, counselling and psychology services.

They are planning a weekly newsletter, virtual support groups and mindfulness meditation sessions and daily live chat sessions on sexual health and HIV prevention.

They have stopped HIV/STI testing services for the time being. You can access HIV and STI testing home testing kits from Sexual Health London (at shl.uk).

Condoms and lubricants can be purchased online from freedoms-shop.com. Redbridge residents can access free condoms and lubricant through the Ccard scheme, available in selected pharmacies across the borough. More information can be found here.

Positive East are continuing to provide information, advice, and support services in a way that keeps people safe.

If you are living with HIV and have queries about welfare and benefits, or if you would like to access peer support, counselling or other support services, please contact them via telephone (020 7791 2855) or email (talktome@positiveeast.org.uk).

If you have any questions about sexual health, you can contact them in the same way.
