Building a Voluntary Sector Alliance - Tower Hamlets CVS

Thursday, 28 July, 2022 - 09:00 to 12:00

The voluntary sector is a key partner in the new ICS structures. The new model has collaboration at its heart and looks towards an equitable relationship between VCSE, Health and Care. But to make this happen, the voices, skills and experience of the VCSE across North East London will need to be included in a fair and equitable way.

Voluntary Sector Leaders have begun to look towards building a VCSE alliance across northeast London so the sector can inform the ICS right from the start.

The Integrated Care System (ICS) will work at all levels and it is therefore vital that all types of organisations in the VCSE, large and small, get the opportunity to be involved.

If you work with people who experience any kind of impact on their health and wellbeing due to the inequalities they face then your insights and their experiences can shape this new system for the better.

The workshop will discuss key themes, such as:

  • What is a VCSE alliance?
  • The vision and values of the alliance
  • The proposed alliance structure.

Any voluntary organisation operating in any of the northeast London boroughs (Barking & Dagenham, City of London, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest) who support people with their health and wellbeing needs is welcome.
