Join Ilford Historical Society for a talk by Georgina Green, FRHistS, in Studio 2 at Redbridge Central Library, IG1 1EA. 

The talk starts with something on the manorial history of Walthamstow and covers the architecture and the owners of the house which was built in 1768. It includes the work of landscape designer Humphry Repton, brings in the Mallinson family and the White House (now Haven House) and ends with the girls' school.

Entry is £3. This is a Christmas social event with free refreshments.
