In support of Great Big Green Week, Ilford BID is hosting a day of climate change activities. 

This day of action will include: 

• Litter picking
• Gardening
• Wellbeing
• Sharing of best practice.

This event will serve as the launch of Ilford inGreen, a new business and community project to improve and maintain green spaces in Ilford town centre. The project will focus on gardening, litter picking, CO2 emission reduction and energy savings.

As part of the project, 8 partnership opportunities will be offered to volunteer time and funds to protect, maintain and improve a number of key areas, including:

• Ilford town centre green spaces
• Recycling
• CO2 emissions
• Energy costs
• Wellbeing
• Town centre welcome
• Business and community engagement
• Raising awareness and advocacy of sustainable goals and initiatives.
