As a society we find it hard to talk about child sexual abuse. At the same time, most children and young people who are being abused aren’t able to confide in anyone. Increasing numbers of children and young people are also being groomed for criminal exploitation. Until the whole community is aware of signs of abuse and the steps to take, children and young people will continue to be harmed.

You’ll learn how to:

• Understand how grooming works 
• Appreciate the impact of harmful practices
• Be able to recognise and respond appropriately to indications of child sexual abuse.

This training is useful for trustees, staff and volunteers.
