If you are passionate and enthusiastic about bringing people together to seek solutions collectively, this exciting 6-month secondment opportunity could be for you. Our Development Director will lead the development of the North-East London Voluntary and Community Sector Collaborative (NEL VCS Collaborative). Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring voluntary & community sector voices are heard and embedded in our health system.
- Leading on helping to reduce health inequalities.
- Working with a range of stakeholders to develop our collaborative in North-East London.
This may be a development opportunity for the right candidate and we will offer mentoring support through the 6-month period of the secondment.
What is the VCSE Collaborative?
It is a body of voluntary & community sector representatives and a representative from the ICB that collaborates to ensure that the design and delivery of health and care services works for residents. The position will be hosted by Tower Hamlets CVS although the post holder will be accountable to the NEL VCSE Collaborative Leadership Group and will be expected to work equitably across the North-East London sub-region.
The North-East London Voluntary and Community Sectors work in equitable partnership with statutory partners across North East London Integrated Care System, shaping the design and delivery of services for our diverse communities, to tackle health inequalities, and support residents to live longer in good health.
