Are you passionate about community-centred approaches to tackling health inequalities? RedbridgeCVS is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to manage and develop our Social Prescribing Programme.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a dedicated and committed team and overseeing the operational management of our social prescribing service.

You will be a champion and an advocate for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE), sharing insights and working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to ensure that VCSE organisations are valued, supported and sustainable.

You will work with partners across the social prescribing ecosystem to ensure a joined-up and coordinated approach, leading the development of a of a high quality training and development offer for social prescribers and other organisations that host and support them.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, bringing energy and enthusiasm to this important and developing area of our work. Last year, our Young Advisors Team helped us to co-design an exciting new youth social prescribing model for Redbridge, and you will be working closely with our Head of Health and Wellbeing to identify and apply for funding opportunities to bring their vision to life.

Please note that this role is 28 hours per week and can be worked across 4 or 5 days, to include Fridays. Hybrid working is available with a minimum of three days a week in the office.
