Get tested, take care of your health, don't pass the virus on - home tests are available.

1st February marks the start of National HIV Testing Week. HIV is a long-term manageable health condition. By knowing your HIV status, you’re taking control of your sexual health and wellbeing. Positive East is offering assisted HIV testing from the comfort of your home. Here's what it entails:

  • You'll have a short chat with a team member so together, you can find the right testing and HIV prevention options for you
  • Positive East will send you a HIV self-test kit in the post
  • They will guide you through taking the test, over video or the phone
  • The test only requires a finger-prick of blood and the test will develop in 15 minutes
  • They will support you with the results of your test and answer questions

To order an HIV test, visit www.positiveeast.org.uk/hiv-testing
