Adanna Women's Support Group's new STEP Project

Adanna Women's Support Group's new STEP project specializes in helping women from BAME groups living in the London Borough of Redbridge to get into work, training and self employment.

The team work with both recent and long term unemployed. 

If you lack basic skills due to taking a career break to have children, illness, caring for relatives and COVID. They will provide:

  • 8-12 weeks programme of mentoring and training in business skills digital, customer service, employment support CV writing/review, interview skills, job applications, etc
  • 1-2-1 mentoring and coaching support from women in the sector to address and overcome personal barriers that prevent them entering into employment.
  • a customised skills development plan will be drawn up which is tailor made to your needs and goals,
  • Match you with a mentor to support you on your journey.
