Eastside Community Heritage and the Museum of London are looking for a group of volunteer researchers to help shape a new permanent gallery focused on themes of migration, protest and London’s communities, as part of the move to a new Museum of London at West Smithfield.
This unique role will involve listening to oral histories – recorded life-story interviews of Londoners – and developing your own interpretations to help create a gallery which resonates with a range of audiences.
No research experience or qualifications are required, just a genuine interest in listening to other people’s stories and a personal connection to themes of the gallery. You will receive full training and support throughout.
This is an exciting chance to influence the museum, whilst gaining valuable experience and developing your skills.
Deadline for applications is 9am on 31st August.
