Changes to RedbridgeCVS Training Fees

A trainning session is taking place
Friday, 12 March, 2021

We know how tough the pandemic has been for local communities and the local voluntary sector. We’ve done all we can to help – for example, we’ve moved our training online, and since September all courses have been available free.

RedbridgeCVS members: Training to remain free

Training will continue to be free for local groups which are members of RedbridgeCVS, and for their staff, trustees and volunteers. Training also remains free for our individual members. Over 300 groups are currently members, and free membership is open to any voluntary organisation which is based in Redbridge or works with Redbridge people. You can get more details and apply for membership here.

While courses remain free for members, we reserve the right to charge a £20 fee for each person booked on a course who does not attend, unless we have been informed about this 10 days in advance.

Supporters and non-members: Training fees from 1 April

We are introducing changes for non-members and for RedbridgeCVS supporters – these are voluntary groups with no connection to Redbridge, and also private and public sector groups. From 1 April we will be charging fees as follows:

Organisation Type Full-day  Half-day
Voluntary and community sector organisation, income under £50,000 £36 £18
Voluntary and community sector organisation, income between £50,000 and £100,000 £52 £26
Voluntary and community sector organisation, income over £100,000  £68 £34
Public sector organisation £120 £60
Private sector organisation £200 £100

 Refunds and cancellation fees

  • Cancellations received 10 working days before the course start will be refunded in full.
  • For cancellations received between 10 and 7 working days before the course start, the participant/organisation will receive a 50% refund.
  • For cancellations received less than 7 working days before the course start, the participant/organisation will be charged in full.

Full terms and conditions

The full terms and conditions for our training will be published on our website and sent to anyone booking training from 1 April.
