The Community Resilience Project has been developed to create a local advice network for formal advice providers to work with community groups

Local community groups are often the first point of contact for residents and are trusted by their respective community members. This project will:

  • Create mutual training opportunities that enable local advice and guidance through networks, and the opportunity to signpost residents to more specific advice and guidance for more complex issues.
  • Create a local advice network where formal advice providers will work with community groups.

The role of the of the local community organisation will be to:

  • Recruit local volunteers to receive training so they can offer basic information and advocacy to local residents
  • Attend training sessions
  • Agree to complete the GDPR training to ensure Data Protection
  • Agree to an acceptable level of commitment to the project.

Send an email to express your interest in the project.
