Continuing healthcare engagement workshop coming to Redbridge

White board with information written
Friday, 26 July, 2019

Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge Clinical Commissioning Group has launched a public consultation to seek feedback on their proposed written continuing healthcare (CHC) placements policy.

As part of the consultation, they are keen for CHC patients, their family and carers, and local voluntary sector and health organisations to have their say on the proposed policy and to provide feedback on the impact it may have on individuals.

To enable this, they will be holding three small engagement workshops in September (one in each of the BHR boroughs) where they will use a range of interactive activities and co-design strategies to enable patients and local organisations to tell them their views on the proposed policy. The workshops will include an introduction to CHC before discussing the proposed policy and its likely impact in more detail.

Please note, the workshops will focus on the proposed placements policy rather than on other aspects of CHC (e.g. assessment process, eligibility criteria and individual packages of care). If you have any questions about other aspects of CHC, they would be very happy to discuss these with you before or after the workshops.
