Funding available to prevent or reduce crime

The Redbridge Safer Neighbourhood Project Fund is now open for applications. Voluntary and community groups can apply for funding of up to £5,000 for one year for projects that aim to prevent or reduce crime through community-led problem solving.

Projects should demonstrate creative approaches to tackling issues and concerns that have been identified by the local community, and align with the MOPAC priority areas of:

  • Putting victims first and reducing inequalities
  • Keeping children and young people safe
  • Tackling violence against women and girls
  • Tackling hate crime and intolerance

Voluntary and community groups can apply for up to £5,000 for one year. There is a total fund of £15,030 available to Redbridge groups and the Safer Neighbourhood Board expects to fund 3-4 projects.
