Volunteering work days in Hainault Forest are all about supporting the forest management plan. Sessions are led by the community forest ranger who supervises the activity, providing advice and support when needed. Activities vary from week to week in response to what needs to be done on site.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Cutting back vegetation.
- Planting trees.
- Maintaining pathways.
- Contributing to ongoing projects on site.
The sessions are between 10am and 2pm on Fridays and you don't need to attend regularly.
