Sam Hustler was planning to run a half-marathon on Sunday 29 March for Haven House, the local children's hospice. But then his partner became ill with Covid-19 symptoms, and he had to self-isolate.
So the Woodford resident is running the distance - just over 21 kilometres - on his 4-metre balcony instead. He says it's really boring, but he's kept going by music, his girlfriend's encouragement and the thoought that he's supporting the hospice.
