Healthwatch Redbridge is the independent champion for health and social care. There are 152 local Healthwatch across the country.
They have two main functions:
- To gather feedback from patients about their experience of local health and social care services
- To signpost people to who they can contact for support, advice or to make a complaint
Over the last few months, patients have raised a number of concerns with them regarding delays in accessing Talking Therapy services in Redbridge.
A major part of their work programme this year is aimed at gathering feedback on access to mental health services and therefore, they have created a short survey aimed at gathering further information regarding patient experiences. They would like to gather further feedback from anyone with personal experience of using the service over the last year.
