London International Arts Festival ( LIAF) are presenting their 8th edition of the festival this year which is curated by the South Indian violinist Jyotsna Srikanth. The festival celebrates the many colourful cultures of London’s historic East End in some of it’s landmark venues.
LIAF is host by Dhruv Arts, a UK-based not-for-profit organisation that provides music education and workshops for all ages along with performances of South Asian, Carnatic and world art forms.
The first LIAF took place in 2012 and has since featured artists from far and wide across the globe like India, Mexico, Serbia, Turkey, Greece, Poland and North America. Alongside world-class concerts, LIAF offers hands-on masterclasses providing a platform for cross-cultural multi-generational interaction.
On Saturday 30th Novemebr between 2PM – 10PM The Redbridge Town hall Wing of the festival will features a marathon of South Indian Carnatic Classical Music.
