The organisation aims to bring sports to women of all ages and backgrounds, particularly women from Muslim and BAME backgrounds who face greater challenges when participating in sports and physical activity.

They are looking to add two trustees to their board:

  • Finance Trustee
A qualified accountant with a recognised accounting and finance qualification, as well as a proven ability to communicate and explain financial information to members of the Board and other stakeholders. An understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship is also required.
  • Business Change Trustee
Someone with a background/knowledge and skills in the areas of: Business Development; Enterprise; Corporate Social Responsibility; Company Sponsorship; and/or Corporate Sponsorship. The business change/transformation Trustee will play an important, entrepreneurial role within the board, scoping out opportunities and seeking to make connections between MSA and other public, private, charitable and academic organisations. An understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship is also required.

If you're interested, see full information in the PDF documents below. Please send your CV and a covering e-mail setting out why you would like to join the organisation and how you meet the requirements to info@muslimahsports.org.uk
