National Hate Crime Awareness Week, 12-19 October

Hate Crime Awareness Week Logo
Friday, 11 October, 2019

A week of action in October, to raise awareness of hate crime, to remember those we have lost and those who need our ongoing support.

Challenging hate crime in all its forms.

Organisers encourage local authorities (police and councils) to work alongside key partners, and communities affected by hate crime to tackle local issues.

Hostility and prejudice targeted towards anyone because of their disability, gender, gender identity, faith, race or sexual orientation is unacceptable. Challenge it, Report it, Stop It.
