If you are a citizen of the EU, EEA or Switzerland, you will need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue to live, work, study and access state benefits in the UK. The official deadline to apply has now passed but Citizens Advice Redbridge can still help. If you have not yet made your application it is still possible to apply. You need to apply separately for your children if they are not UK citizens.

Citizens Advice Redbridge can:

  • Explain the application process
  • Offer you advice
  • Get you online
  • Help you find your documents
  • Support your application.

If you applied by 30 June 2021, your rights are protected until you receive a decision. You can use your Certificate of Application to prove your right to work, study, rent and access to benefits and services. Otherwise you will need to submit a late application as soon as possible.

For support, email or call Citizens Advice Redbridge at 020 8514 9540.
