Join Redbridge Community Crowdfunding at one of their workshops which will launch the Autumn Round of Redbridge's Community Crowdfunding programme. These workshops will be a chance for those with potential project ideas to hear about the programme and will be taking place on the 29th of June and the 14th of July.
The council have more funding available to pledge towards local crowdfunding projects through the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), as long as projects meet the selection criteria and there are sufficient available funds. Local community groups can bid for projects that vary in pledge scale from under £1,000 for smaller projects, to up £20,000 for larger projects. The public can show their support for projects by “liking” projects, pledging financial donations and by pledging volunteer time in project wishlists.
The deadline for projects to have created their page and pitched to the fund is the 15th of September.
