There are a number of resources and services that are currently available through a few different organisations to support those experiencing anxiety and loneliness during this difficult period. Some of the following might be useful if you are experiencing a tough time at present and need some support:

North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) - NELFT are offering therapy online, either by telephone or video call. They also have individual support, groups and weekly online webinars covering a wide range of topics. These can help you look after your mental wellbeing, emotionally supporting people in self-isolation, maintaining activity levels while at home by focusing on how to manage anxiety and uncertainty during this pandemic.

Age UK ‘Forget Me Not" – Telephone befriending for older and socially isolated residents.

Silver Line – They have a 24-hour help line service and telephone befriending service. Referrals can be made online too through their website, but it may be a faster process if the clients call them as they will do their assessment at the same time. Visit website or call 0800 470 8090 to use their service.

St Francis Hospice ‘Orange Line’ – Regular telephone calls for people of all ages who may be bereaved, feeling isolated or lonely.
