Self-care for black women

Black Woman Kindness Initiative is hosting a series of workshops focused on building black women's resilience through self-care. The project is being funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Each workshop will consist of two sessions, taking place on multiple dates through May, June and July. Refreshments will be provided. 

Themes covered will include: 

  • The meaning of self-care to black women
  • Boundaries, barriers and burnout
  • Vulnerability and resilience
  • How to pause
  • Self-care action plans

There will also be guest speakers discussing nutrition, mindfulness, and meditation. 

All attendees will be invited to a celebration event on 17th September 2022. They will also receive an attendance certificate, goody bag and self-care booklet designed by Black Woman Kindness Initiative.
