Vegetarian for Life have created a guide to food shopping and grocery boxes to help make it easier if you are shopping for someone else that has a special dietary requirement. This is to support the large amounts of community groups and supermarkets offering support to get shopping and essential items to vulnerable self-isolating people during coronavirus outbreak.

There are a number of reasons people exclude foods from their diet including allergies, intolerances, autoimmune diseases, personal beliefs, and religious, philosophical and cultural beliefs. The document below will provide you with useful tips and advice on what labels to look out for in the supermarket to make it easier to help ensure community grocery boxes and food shopping is inclusive for all.
