The Super Cool Friends Charity's Virtual World Walk Challenge (VWWC) was launched on 21 November by the Mayor of Redbridge and the SCF Charity at Fairlop Waters, Redbridge.

The challenge aims to promote personal wellbeing, health and fitness.

100 people are participating in groups of 10. Each participant has pledged to walk 8500 steps a day to achieve 850000 steps as a group. Each group has adopted a country from the Virtual World Walk list and as the full VWWC group collectively achieves its steps to arrive at that country, a charity chosen by the group will be supported with a £500 donation.  The funds for this have been donated by each participant. The route of the VWWC is:

  • Gambia
  • Kenya
  • India
  • Philippines
  • Hawaii
  • Colombia
  • Dominican Republic
  • Morocco
  • Spain
  • Malta

Please support SCFC by joining their fortnightly walks at Fairlop Waters. The next walk will be on 5 Dec at 11am.
