Aanchal Women's Aid have been named as one of three finalists in the Safety Category of the Digital Agenda Impact Awards 2019.  Their Project is listed as Nari Raksha meaning Women Protected.

The project developed an innovative response to early intervention, smart referral and hearing voices of victims to inspire others to seek help safely.

Your vote can help Aanchal not only become a finalist, but win an award - just go to https://www.impact-awards.co.uk/finalists/ and vote.

Piloted in 4 Redbridge GP surgeries,  the Award is for a Comic Relief Tech for Good digital response to support Early Intervention of domestic abuse. It considers barriers to support in South Asian Communities and inspires victims to seek support in protected environments such as GP surgeries and Maternity Units. The tool was developed in consultation with and designed by service users of Aanchal Women's Aid, an extention of our 24 Hour Helpline and is a smart referral system. The tool is further being developed this year to be embedded on our website in a safe framework.
