Funding to help improve green and blue spaces across London

Applications will shortly open for expressions of interest to the Mayor’s Green and Resilient Spaces Fund.

COVID-19 has highlighted the importance of London's parks and green spaces as never before. As part of his Green New Deal, the Mayor is investing in projects that create and improve green and blue spaces across the capital, and that enhance our resilience to the impacts of climate change

This £4m fund will support large-scale, innovative enhancements to green and blue spaces, and the wider public realm that will:

  • Strengthen climate resilience
  • Increase biodiversity
  • Improve accessibility
  • Build green skills
  • Help reduce health inequalities.

Grants from £250,000 to £750,000 are available. Applications will be open to local authorities and other public sector and civil society organisations.

Projects must be completed by March 2024.

Applications must be submitted by 5:00pm on Thursday 30 September.
