Redbridge Young Advisers

Redbridge Young Advisers are a group of young people aged 15 – 24 who are resident in Redbridge.  They are able to work with voluntary and community groups, statutory bodies and businesses, helping them to understand the opinions and needs of young people in local decision making and planning.

Young Advisers bring with them a richness of lived experience and are able to help connect community and business leaders with a wide range of young people, amplifying the voice of our young people and influencing strategic planning.

Work so far

Our Young Advisers have so far been involved in a variety of activities including:

  • Mapping local youth provision
  • Co-producing health buddies projects
  • Consultating on the Fairlop Master Plan
  • Being part of grant funding panels.

They are keen to be involved in more dialogue and decision making about the issues that affect young people in Redbridge.
