RedbridgeCVS is an umbrella body that works with over 800 voluntary and community organisations in the London Borough of Redbridge. Our mission is to promote a strong, effective and independent voluntary and community sector in Redbridge.
BASIS Round 2
RedbridgeCVS and Redbridge ChangeUp Consortium are recruiting groups for the second round of our Big Lottery-funded BASIS programme.
BASIS is an intensive and tailored support and development programme for voluntary and community groups in Redbridge. We will be working with ten groups for twelve months each starting in November.
- Does your group want to grow and develop?
- Do your staff, volunteers or trustees need access to training and support?
- Do you need time and tools to help you think about your future?
- Do you need specialist advice?
- Does your group want to work towards a quality mark so as to get external recognition of the way you run your organisation?
- Do you want this help provided locally and free of charge?
If you're interested, see here for more information, or contact Maddy Edwards by phone on 020 8514 9920 or at maddy@redbridgecvs.net.
Cuts Consultation - Help Your Group's Voice Be Heard
The government is cutting public spending, and Redbridge Council has to make substantial savings this year and in future years. The Council is consulting residents on the choices involved through the Redbridge Conversation 2010.
The consultation process uses You Choose, an online tool that allows people to immediately understand the implications of their choices. Anyone with internet access can use You Choose.
The Council understands that some people don't have access to the internet at home. Residents can get online for free at Redbridge libraries.
Come to a Briefing
The Council is providing briefing sessions for voluntary groups, to help them ensure that their members or users are able to take part in the consultation. For more information see here.
