How we can help you
Volunteer Centre Redbridge provides support to voluntary, community and statutory organisations that involve volunteers and are either based in Redbridge or want to promote their volunteering opportunities to people who live, work or study in Redbridge.
Volunteer Centre Redbridge can help with:
- developing volunteering opportunities
- thinking through the practicalities of involving volunteers in projects
- developing and implementing appropriate policies and procedures
- advertising and promoting volunteering roles
The information and guidance we provide can help your volunteer managers and coordinators to feel confident, which in turn helps to ensure that your volunteers have a great experience and stay as long as possible.
Volunteer Centre Redbridge publicises volunteering opportunities free of charge on the RedbridgeCVS website and through Twitter. We offer an initial screening service, ensuring that the most appropriate potential volunteers are referred to you.
Volunteer Centre staff can also undertake free Volunteering Health Checks for projects based in the London Borough of Redbridge, when they sign up to London’s Volunteer Management Charter. The Charter covers ten essential aspects of volunteer management.
